Dr. Wanasanan Phetkua graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, an institution founded on the principle of being "The People's Doctor"
This philosophy of providing accessible, compassionate healthcare continues to shape her approach to medicine today.
In 2017, Dr. Wanasanan established Samui Home Clinic with a clear vision to provide high-quality medical care at a fair price for everyone living on Koh Samui, regardless of nationality. What began as a single clinic in Bangrak has since expanded to Chaweng and Rajabhat, alongside the opening of Samui Home Pharmacy.
As Medical Director, Dr. Wanasanan carefully selects each doctor, nurse, and pharmacist who joins the team, ensuring patients receive professional, evidence-based care delivered with kindness, integrity and clear communication in both Thai and English.
Committed to continuing professional development, Dr. Wanasanan has achieved American Board Certification in Nutritional Wellness and a Diploma in Clinical Sexology. She firmly believes that medicine is a lifelong journey of learning and remains dedicated to advancing her knowledge to provide the highest standard of care for her patients.

Lt. Col. Settapong Phetkua, MD is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. With a strong foundation in Internal Medicine and advanced training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Settapong is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care to help individuals achieve better heart health and quality of life.
Currently serving at Fort Wachirawut Hospital in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, Dr. Settapong specialises in the management of coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, and complex cardiovascular conditions. His expertise in interventional cardiology enables him to perform advanced catheter-based procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular diseases.
Dr. Settapong is an active contributor to cardiovascular education and has been invited to speak at numerous academic conferences and professional meetings across Thailand. His presentations focus on preventive cardiology, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, cardio-renal protection, and evidence-based cardiovascular therapies.
